Research, experiment results and engineering observations for FabricO11y, a Rust telemetry system that collects, durably forwards, retains and queries Linux logs, metrics and traces.
- Console models and interface: bounded UI algorithms, art direction, browser checks and dependency findings.
- Research overview: what the experiments have yielded.
- Release integration review: merged progress, archived qualification evidence and current release blockers.
- Agent execution review: observed churn, Codex CLI preparation and a proposed comparison with unchanged verification gates.
- Research and experiment index: individual investigations and results.
- Evidence policy: provenance, interpretation and raw archives.
- Migration inventory: source-to-wiki mapping and exclusions.
- Product and source repository: operator instructions, architecture, release plan and executable verification.
Reports retain their historical workload, revision and outcome. No release tag or new deployment qualification is implied by moving a report to this wiki.
Supplemental historical research inventory records 21 additional reviewed historical bodies and the controlled raw-archive boundary.
-
Current release readiness progress: exact candidate checks, active campaigns and remaining work.
-
Firefox virtual passkey diagnostics: retained failures and finite CTAP2.1 discrimination.
- Installation campaign run 02: failed Debian candidate upgrade, isolated hardening/log-opening conflict, retained reproduction and owner decision pending. Epic #33 supersedes #32; no release acceptance is claimed.
- Service-compatible log opening run 01: owner-authorized repair, deterministic before/after syscall regression, 20 passing fast checks and retained failures; new exact-package acceptance remains pending.
- Installation run 03: exact replacement baseline/lifecycle cells and all six package controls completed; #42 and later acceptance remains open. Previous failure checkpoints retain their original outcomes.
-
Command admission run 01: preserved native HTTP 429, independent schedule regression and passing repaired smoke on unchanged exact packages; full #42 remains open.
-
Fixed-query caller prerequisites: retained admission/corpus failures, independent controls and fresh disposable smoke on unchanged packages.
-
Service and fixed-query run 03: six main and four full query cells completed on historical
a5dbda7apackages. Owner requires a new candidate for reproducible console icons; these results do not count in its release ledger and #42 stays open. -
Fresh candidate artifact build plan: prospective commands for frozen
8fb6f41, independent console builds and dist diff exit 0; remaining guarded cleanup, DEB and canonical-receipt RPM commands are prospective.
Current readiness progress records completed reproducible8fb6f41 artifacts, bounded harness source evidence and the still-open native acceptance queue. Custody source results, browser oracle source results, and transition source results retain exact commands, failures and cleanup. None is native release qualification; no tag or publication occurred.
- Delegated browser source counterexamples: thirteen registered methods, real finite child cleanup, mocked cgroups and preserved failures; production and native acceptance remain pending.
