PS5 UltraPack 2.2.9

PS5 UltraPack 2.2.9

A faster window

The app felt sluggish, and opening Add job was the worst of it. I measured where the time went and fixed what I found:

• Add job and Edit job open in about a third of a second. Before, it took more than two seconds every time.
• Settings opens about twice as fast the first time.
• The queue reacts faster to the mouse, to clicks and to progress updates, and stays just as fast with hundreds of jobs.

Most of it came from the scrollbars and drop-down menus, which made the window lay itself out again and again while a page was built. They are replaced or fixed now, on macOS and Windows.
