I'm using KH Coder to analyze a series of interviews with people of different profiles.
I've prepared the data I want to analyze in the same way as in the Anne of Green Gables tutorial (as shown in the screenshot). The first column contains the text to be analyzed, and the rest of the columns are filled with variables related to the respondent's profile, in this case the participant's code, their gender, their highest educational level, the region where they work, and the type of work organization (I called this column “professional”).
My question is about these variables. When you open the [Variables and Headings] menu, KH Coder assumes only some of the values of the different variables. For example, for the Professional column, we have three different values — Research-Institute, Academic, Corporate — but KH Coder only displays two values — Research-Institute and Academic.
Am I doing something wrong? How can I get KH Coder to read all the values for the different variables?

How many rows does the Excel file contain? When you analyze your own data file, the Starting Edition only reads 100 cases from the file. Could that be the reason?
