New Entity: Cacula — Games Master

Cacula owns the gamification layer across the entire koad:io ecosystem.

Role

Design and maintain game mechanics woven into every part of the platform — not bolted-on gamification, but game design as architecture.

Scope

Alice's course

  • Level progression, XP, completion badges
  • Daily budget as energy/stamina mechanic
  • Content bubble as inventory

Entity ecosystem

  • Gestating an entity = summoning a character in your Wonderland
  • Trust bonds = alliances
  • Mesh participation = multiplayer
  • Achievements for real actions (first commit, first entity, first bond, first mesh message)

Engagement system

  • Tiers: Lurker → Student → Operator → Builder → Sponsor → Ring member
  • Quests that map to actual tasks (not busywork)
  • Leaderboards (optional, opt-in — sovereignty means you choose visibility)
  • Badges portable in content bubble, transferable to entity on install

Sponsorship integration

  • Sponsor tiers unlock cosmetic/prestige elements, not core functionality
  • Badge rarity tied to real achievement, not payment

Design principles

  • Game mechanics must map to real actions — no hollow dopamine loops
  • Sovereignty-compatible: player controls their own data, achievements are portable/signed
  • The Wonderland metaphor is the game world — Cacula designs within it, doesn't replace it
