brewdoc 0.2.0

Fast, deterministic document-to-Markdown conversion for agent systems. Easy to install. No model weights, OCR or external services.

  • Offline PDF, DOCX, PPTX, spreadsheet and static HTML conversion to deterministic Markdown and JSON receipts.
  • Workbook sheet selection and formula/VBA artifact export.

Requires Python 3.12+; static HTML requires CPython 3.12-3.14.

Choose one method (use an active virtual environment for pip):

python -m pip install "brewdoc==0.2.0"
uv tool install --python 3.12 "brewdoc==0.2.0"
pipx install --python 3.12 "brewdoc==0.2.0"

Verify: brewdoc --self-check. Convert: brewdoc file.pdf --out file.md.
