Iron plate

The iron plate is a material that can be made by smelting iron ore in a furnace. It is a component or subcomponent of almost every item in Factor, and it is recommended to create a large stockpile when possible. When smelted in a furnace for a second time, iron plates will transform into steel, with a ratio of 5 iron plates per 1 steel plate.

Copper plate

Copper plates are obtained by smelting copper ore in a furnace. Copper is not widely used, but it is also a major resource. In the later game, the use of copper increases greatly with the mass production of electronic circuits, and other resources that consume copper. However, copper usage will generally be less than iron plate usage throughout the game.

Coal

Coal can be found on the map. It is used to power fuel-burning machines and boilers.

Copper ore deposits can be found on the map. Used for smelting into copper plates.

Iron gears

Iron gears are created in assembler level 1. It is an important component in a large number of basic and advanced recipes.

Copper cable

Copper wire is an intermediate product made from copper plate. It is an important component in the production of electronic plates.

Electronic plate

Electronic circuits are used as an ingredient in many item recipes, including the creation of all types of manipulators, and most manufacturing machines such as assembly machines, solar panels, and electric drills.

Steel

Steel bar is an improved material and is obtained by melting iron plates.

Stone

Stone is a resource found on the map. It is used to create stone furnace, stonepath, landfill.

Wood

Wood is the initial raw material that can be obtained by collecting trees. Wood is used in recipes and also as fuel in all solid fuel devices.

Ammo magazine

Ammo Magazine is the most basic type of firearm ammo available to craft at the start of the game. Cheap, but has the least damage.

Piercing rounds magazine

An advanced type of ammunition for firearms. More expensive to produce than a simple magazine with cartridges, but does more damage.
