Quick Presenter 0.5.1 is an internal stability release focused on making live playback and packaged builds more predictable after 0.5.0.

What's changed

  • Improved macOS fullscreen stability, especially around slide-window boundary navigation and repeated fullscreen transitions.
  • Fixed macOS control shortcuts for slide navigation.
  • Reduced unnecessary page refreshes when navigation does not change the current slide.
  • Hid the extra Windows console window in release builds.
  • Added versioned release package names so downloaded installers and disk images are easier to identify.
  • Hardened macOS DMG packaging, signing, notarization, stapling, and mounted-DMG validation.
  • Improved packaged artifact guidance for users and maintainers.

Notes

Quick Presenter still opens PDF slide decks only. It is not a slide editor and does not import Keynote, PowerPoint, Google Slides, Marp, or Beamer source files directly. Export the final deck to PDF before presenting.

For macOS, use the signed and notarized QuickPresenter-0.5.1.dmg attached to this release.
