Desktop Node Release 0.9.19

We’re thrilled to announce Desktop Node version 0.9.19! This release focuses on improving performance, introducing more customization options, and ensuring a smoother experience for all users.

New Features and Improvements 🌟

  1. New Remote Backend: Transitioned to using a new remote backend for improved reliability and scalability.

  2. Show Rewards Bar Switch: Added a Show Rewards Bar option in Settings, allowing you to toggle the Rewards Progress Bar on or off. Disabling it can reduce resource consumption, offering a smoother experience for lower-spec devices.

  3. Updated Referrals Widget: The referrals widget and view now use the new VIP endpoint for a better referral tracking experience.

  4. Enhanced Faucet Redirects: Added UTM parameters to faucet redirections to improve tracking and analytics.

  5. Token Item in Task Tables: Updated the token item in task tables to include an option to check out the Ocean page for the token, in addition to viewing it in the explorer.

  6. Faster Reward Claims: Reduced the number of retries for claiming rewards, addressing an issue where the process appeared stuck due to extended retry times.
