Fixed

  • apply: install the packages backing the units Cloud host-security enables and the ruleset it loads, so the owner can reach the posture it declares on a stock Ubuntu host instead of failing on absent nft and fail2ban.
  • apply: reload only a running sshd and ensure the sshd privilege separation directory, so Cloud host-security hardening holds on a socket-activated Ubuntu host.
