New features

  • kosli snapshot s3 now supports --fingerprint-source (content or metadata, default content). With metadata, object fingerprints are read from the SHA256 checksums S3 already stores (requires objects to have been uploaded with a full-object SHA256 checksum), skipping the download and local hashing entirely.
  • --download-concurrency now defaults to a wider value automatically when --fingerprint-source metadata is used (can still be overridden explicitly).

Improvements

  • Updated help text for --download-concurrency and --download-budget to clarify their behavior under each fingerprint source.
