- Difinoj el la esperanta Vikivortaro por 683 vortoj, kiujn Reta Vortaro ne havas. Ĉiu havas sian paĝon, aranĝitan kiel artikolo, kun la indiko „el Vikivortaro · ne en Reta Vortaro“.
- La fonto de ĉiu ekzemplo: post la frazo, ĝia aŭtoro kaj verko, kun ligilo (↗) al Vikipedio aŭ al Reta Vortaro.
- Ekzemploj faldeblaj: se estas multaj, aperas la unua, kaj „15 pliaj ekzemploj“ montras la aliajn per unu tuŝo. Se vi preferas, la agordoj montras ĉiujn ĉiam.
- Piktogramoj de la fakoj (arkitekturo, genealogio, botaniko…) ĉe la vortoj de la artikoloj.
- Serĉo en la franca kaj la angla montras tuj la esperantan vorton: „maison → domo“.
- Reta Vortaro ĝisdatigita (17 oktobro 2026).

What's new
- Definitions from the Esperanto Wiktionary for 683 words that Reta Vortaro lacks. Each has its own page, laid out like an article, marked "el Vikivortaro · ne en Reta Vortaro".
- The source of every example: after the sentence, its author and work, with a link (↗) to Wikipedia or Reta Vortaro.
- Examples fold away: when there are many, the first one shows, and "15 pliaj ekzemploj" opens the others with a tap. If you prefer, a setting always shows them all.
- Icons for the fields (architecture, genealogy, botany…) on the words of the articles.
- French and English search shows the Esperanto word at once: "maison → domo".
- Reta Vortaro updated (17 October 2026).
Improvements: many small fixes to the layout and the texts, after the tests of version 0.4. Thanks to all the testers!

• French from Wiktionary (Vikivortaro), where Reta Vortaro has none: 4,298 more French words to search, 4,771 translations added in the articles (dotted), 3,749 Esperanto words with a page of their own.
• The translations of Reta Vortaro's examples, 11,625, now shown and searchable: "bonjour", "thank you".
• Results in alphabetical order; words with endings found ("kuris").
• Sources at the end of each article; 10¹², CH₃ as written.

- Diveni mankantajn vortojn: se vorto ne estas en la vortaro, la serĉo proponas, el kiuj radikoj kaj afiksoj ĝi eble konsistas („malsanulejestrano“: malsanulej + estr + ano). Malŝaltebla en la agordoj.
- La lingvoj de la tradukoj aperas per sia plena nomo (angla, franca…), ne plu per kodo.

- Guessing missing words: when a word isn't in the dictionary, the search suggests the roots and affixes it may be built from ("malsanulejestrano": malsanulej + estr + ano). Can be turned off in the settings.
- The languages of the translations are named in full (angla, franca…), no longer by a code.

- Long labels go to the next line instead of past the edge.
- A definition ends with a period, not a colon, before its examples.

Korekto: en la tradukoj de „korupteco“ (en naŭ lingvoj), la etikedo mankis kaj ĝia ligilo estis rompita.
La vortaro nun estas konstruata ĉiam same, bajto post bajto: F-Droid povos kontroli, ke ĝia versio estas ĝuste tiu ĉi, kaj publikigi ĝin kun la sama subskribo. Oni do povos ĝisdatigi per F-Droid sen malinstali.

Fix: in the translations of "korupteco" (in nine languages), the label was missing and its link was broken.
The dictionary is now always built the same, byte for byte: F-Droid will be able to check that its version is exactly this one, and publish it with the same signature. So one will be able to update through F-Droid without uninstalling.

The first version of Bona vortaro: an Esperanto dictionary for Android, with the whole Reta Vortaro and its translations into more than 170 languages. It works offline and asks for no permission. It grew out of PReVo by Neil Roberts.
Install: download bona-vortaro-0.1.apk below and open it on your phone (Android 6 or newer). Coming soon to F-Droid.
