Kova Agent Plugin v0.1.1

Give every agent the same investment strategy. Kova is the strategy layer for agentic investors.

This patch makes the public README easier to use by keeping it focused on setup, authentication, approval boundaries, updates, releases, and support. Plugin behavior is unchanged from v0.1.0.

The release still provides exactly two portable workflows:

  • Create or refine a strategy: turn goals, holdings, rules, and rough notes into a strategy the user explicitly approves before saving.
  • Check strategy alignment: classify current holdings, preview portfolio and manual-asset changes, and require separate approval before writes or evaluation.

Install

In VS Code, enable Agent Plugins and run Chat: Install Plugin From Source with:

https://github.com/kovatools/kova-agent-plugin

For another compatible client, clone the immutable release:

git clone --branch v0.1.1 --depth 1 https://github.com/kovatools/kova-agent-plugin.git

Compatibility

Validated on August 12, 2026 with VS Code 1.132.0, Cursor 3.15.6, and Codex CLI 0.146.0. Direct-source and portable installation, the exact two-skill inventory, update and removal lifecycles, source parity, and credential-free packaging were confirmed. OAuth and hosted MCP behavior are unchanged from v0.1.0.
