Kraken LCD Studio v0.3.0 is the first complete public release of the native Windows controller for the Thermaltake 3.9-inch 480x128 LCD (VID 264A, PID 233D).

Highlights

  • Direct HID control without TT RGB Plus or replacement USB drivers.
  • Visual 480x128 crop editor for images, GIFs, MP4, WebM, MKV, MOV, AVI, and animated WebP.
  • Rotating CPU, GPU, memory, and clock overlays with live color preview, typography controls, transparent mode, graphs, and saved profiles.
  • Notification-area companion that restores the last played setup at Windows sign-in.
  • Explicit H.264 MP4 and VP9 WebM export/conversion workflow.
  • Clean stop behavior for ffmpeg, heartbeat threads, and USB handles.

Install

  1. Download Kraken-LCD-Studio-v0.3.0.zip below.
  2. Extract it to a permanent folder.
  3. Install Python 3.12 and put ffmpeg/ffprobe on PATH.
  4. Close TT RGB Plus.
  5. Run Install Kraken LCD Studio.cmd, then Launch Kraken LCD Studio.cmd.

Verification

  • Windows CI passed dependency installation, package installation, compilation, and 19 tests.
  • The SHA-256 checksum is attached beside the ZIP.
