What's new

Watched jobs

• The root screen opens with a Watched section. Each job shows its last build: number, result, age, duration or live progress, and cause.
• enter opens a job, and b / L / x / w / o act on it directly. J/K reorder the list.
• If a watched job can't be polled (deleted, renamed or forbidden), it shows ✗ and the reason.
• Watched jobs are now stored per Jenkins URL. The old list moves over automatically.
• Polling defaults to 10s. p cycles through 5, 10, 20, 30 and 60s.

Search

• / fuzzy-searches every folder, not just the current one, so gdep finds gotham/deploy.

Macros

• Press m to build step sequences in the TUI: build with saved parameters, abort, wait for success, answer input.
• Macros run in the background, and you can cancel them.
• From a shell: jenklod-batman run <name> [KEY=VALUE…] [-y], or run --list to list them.

• Trigger builds, with a form for parameterized jobs, and abort running ones; both ask for confirmation

• Watch jobs and get desktop notifications on macOS and Linux when a build finishes or waits for input
• The API token stays in the system keyring (macOS Keychain, or Secret Service on Linux) and is never written to disk

Or download the archive for your platform below, extract it, and put jenklod-batman on your PATH. Checksums are in checksums.txt.

The macOS binaries are not notarized. If Gatekeeper blocks one, run xattr -d com.apple.quarantine jenklod-batman.

Answering input steps needs the Pipeline: Stage View plugin on the Jenkins controller. Linux notifications need notify-send (libnotify).
