Pick your language
A new language picker lets you choose the app language directly: English, Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano, Português (Portugal), or Português (Brasil). On phones it sits in the settings sheet; on larger screens it lives in a new menu button at the end of the toolbar, together with the theme switch and Backup & Restore. If you never touch it, the app keeps following your device language as before.
Portuguese, both sides of the Atlantic
Brazilian Portuguese is new in this release. The existing Portuguese translation follows European conventions and is now labeled Português (Portugal). Devices set to Brazilian Portuguese get the Brazilian text automatically; everyone who had Portuguese before stays on the European variant unless they choose otherwise.
Notifications and widgets speak it too
Reminder notifications, their action buttons, and the Android notification channel are translated, and scheduled reminders are rebuilt in the new language the moment you switch. Home screen widgets, Quick Settings tiles, and app shortcuts are translated as well; being system surfaces, they follow the phone's language rather than the in-app choice.
Finishing touches
The last untranslated corners are done in every language: the backup replace confirmation, the Tasker intent errors, and the elapsed time labels ("just now", "3d ago").
Notes for existing users
- On desktop and tablet, the theme switch and Backup & Restore moved from the toolbar into the new menu button, alongside Language. Nothing was removed, and nothing needs reconfiguring.
- Translations were produced without native speaker review. If something reads wrong in your language, please open an issue; corrections are very welcome.
