Install

One-shot installer (apt-managed, survives upgrades):

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/krill-software/.github/main/install.sh | sh -s markdown-editor

Manual .deb — registers the app as a candidate "Open with…" handler:

sudo apt install ./"Markdown Editor"_*_amd64.deb

AppImage — portable, self-updating via Help → Check for updates…:

chmod +x "Markdown Editor"_*.AppImage
./"Markdown Editor"_*.AppImage path/to/test.md

Verify with sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS.
