🔧 File Saving System & Android Compatibility

Problem solved: Files were not saving correctly on Android devices

  • Implementation: Robust saving system with multiple fallbacks
  • Functionality: Automatic Android WebView detection using Capacitor
  • Features:
    • Explicit storage permissions request
    • Multiple directory attempts (Documents, Downloads, External Storage)

🎨 Mobile UI Compatibility

Problem solved: UI elements not working properly in Android WebView

  • Implementation: Specific CSS for Android WebView and touch devices
  • Functionality: Optimized styles for touch screens and WebView

Improvements implemented:

  • Minimum 16px font-size to prevent auto-zoom on iOS
  • Specific styles for select elements on Android
  • Enhanced touch gesture compatibility
  • Form element optimization

🤖 AI Generator Dropdown Repair

Problem solved: AI provider dropdown (OpenAI, Ollama, etc.) appeared grey and unusable on Android

  • Solution: Changed from dynamic to static implementation following successful dropdown patterns
  • Method: Analysis of working dropdowns (styles, layers) and applying the same pattern

Changes implemented:

  1. HTML: Pre-populated <select> with all options statically
  2. JavaScript: Simplified dynamic event listeners
  3. Pattern: Used inline onchange like other functional dropdowns
  4. Compatibility: Removed problematic dynamic creation in Android WebView

Files updated:

  • ai-generator.js - AI generator logic
  • ui/windows.html - Dialog HTML structure
