BTC09 Wallet v0.1.34 native preview 1
Pre-releaseBTC09 Wallet v0.1.34 native preview 1
This preview adds the wallet-only desktop app for Windows and macOS. It can create or restore a wallet, receive, review and send 09C, show activity, back up recovery words, and combine small payments. It does not contain the node or miner.
The files are installable, but they do not yet have the paid platform trust signatures:
- Windows 10/11 x64: open the installer. If SmartScreen says Windows protected your PC, choose More info, check that the file came from this GitHub release, then choose Run anyway. Some managed PCs and PCs with Smart App Control may block unsigned software completely.
- macOS 13 or newer, Apple silicon or Intel: unzip the universal app and open it. If macOS blocks it, open System Settings > Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway for BTC09 Wallet.
Do not disable antivirus, SmartScreen, Gatekeeper, or other system security. If your device does not offer the normal one-app override, use the signed Android APK or Linux AppImage, or wait for the trusted build.
Only download these files from this GitHub release. Check SHA256SUMS before running them. The Windows installer was built by public AppVeyor CI, inspected as a wallet-only package, and scanned clean with Microsoft Defender. The Mac app is a universal public-CI build with an ad-hoc integrity signature, not an Apple Developer ID signature.
The iPhone build is not included. It passes the simulator gate, but a simulator app cannot be installed on a real iPhone. Free Apple-ID sideloading also expires after seven days, so it is not being presented as a normal release.
Back up the 24 recovery words offline before receiving funds. Nobody from BTC09 will ever ask for them.
Node and mining users should keep using the full v0.1.34 release.
