v0.2.0
TaskTick 0.2.0
A full UI overhaul. Liquid Glass, a working desktop layout, and TickTick's
calendar.
This release is mostly a foundation fix. The UI problems reported were
structural, not cosmetic:
- The desktop content area was literally off-screen. The sidebar sat in a
flex-1 wrapper inside a column flex container, so it consumed a full-width
row and pushed below the fold. A fixed nav bar on top of that
spanned the sidebar and buried its header. - tailwind-merge did not know this project's custom tokens, so
cn('text-footnote', 'text-secondary') silently dropped the font size. Every
custom size combined with a colour fell back to the body size, app-wide,
with no error.
What the UI is now:
- A real app shell: fixed-height frame, sidebar and content as independent
scroll panes, sticky translucent chrome, nothing scrolling the document.
CSS-driven breakpoints, so a desktop visitor never sees the mobile layout
flash first. - Liquid Glass as four layers — tint, backdrop blur, specular rim, ambient
shadow — with a masked gradient border that follows any corner radius, and
a dark appearance tuned separately rather than dimmed. An ambient tinted
mesh sits behind everything so translucent surfaces have colour to refract. - Calendar in TickTick's shape: month grid on top, the selected day's agenda
below, defaulting to today, collapsing to a week strip, and side-by-side
with an agenda column on desktop. Cached pills instead of dashed outlines,
so month cells show readable labels. - One consistent, non-truncating habit row for all four goal types.
- Corrected back controls, correctly centred progress ring, per-variant
disabled buttons, and visible text inputs.
Verified by screenshot at 390x844 and 1440x900 after the type-size fix changed
layout app-wide: 548 unit tests, clean typecheck, no horizontal overflow on any
route, and no content trapped behind the tab bar.
