client.CoreV1Api().list_node() does not work #1735

What happened (please include outputs or screenshots):

When I run the following script:

from kubernetes import client, config
config.load_kube_config()
v1 = client.CoreV1Api()
v1.list_node()

I expect it to list my nodes (running kubectl get nodeworks fine), but instead it throws the following error:
