Kudzu 0.16.11 - Structured Compiler Diagnostics
Kudzu 0.16.11 gives tools and agents stable machine-readable authored-source errors without replacing concise human diagnostics or exposing compiler internals.
Changed
- Adds
kudzu build --json, which emits one versioned diagnostic envelope with stable semantic code, stage, severity, project-relative source range, message, nullable compatibility class, and nullable safe suggestion. - Preserves readable source-located build and development errors; agents no longer need to parse maintained error-message substrings.
- Covers unresolved imports and re-exports, unsupported dynamic imports, TypeScript syntax errors, runtime-locale
react-i18next, and invalid keyed-row ref initializers through the shared diagnostic transport. - Reuses the existing compatibility registry and keeps pass filenames, generated source, IR slots, runtime records, and stack traces out of machine output.
- Adds no semantic primitive, compiler pass, runtime concept, browser module, or deploy byte. Representative artifact manifests and hashes remain unchanged.
