Kudzu 0.16.29 omits binding style serialization and conditional DOM ownership when no route-family owner requires them.

  • Imported-search output removes 1,202 raw JavaScript bytes; the no-branch binding fixture removes 1,399 raw / 415 gzip bytes of conditional code.
  • Dynamic styles, conditional owners, keyed identity and navigation retain their behavior. Runtime-family hashes change intentionally.
  • Repository-only browser observations, Astro comparison support and future visibility-based acceptance corrections preserve historical evidence and remain outside the npm payload.
  • No new semantic primitive, runtime concept or dependency. Deploy-byte savings do not establish AI-cost or latency superiority; 1.0.0 remains blocked.
  • create-kudzu 0.1.154 generates @kudzujs/core ^0.16.29 projects.

Validation: check, required-Chrome ownership plus 328 tests, package smoke, and exact-commit CI passed.

Upgrade: npm install @kudzujs/core@^0.16.29
