Kudzu 0.16.3 proves that a real SortableJS drag engine can remain a bounded effect while existing keyed state owns durable order and DOM identity.

  • Treats unshadowed HTMLElement as a browser global in bundled effect callbacks.
  • Restores package-moved DOM before one immutable keyed-state reorder.
  • Proves keyboard parity, retained identity, invalid-input recovery, exact disposal, and fresh remount.
  • Emits 72,251 raw / 26,603 aggregate gzip JavaScript bytes for the real package fixture; the static sibling emits zero JavaScript.
  • Adds no drag/drop IR, runtime concept, React, VDOM, hydration, or retained component tree.
  • Updates create-kudzu@0.1.128 to generate @kudzujs/core@^0.16.3.
