Kujo Commerce 0.5.0 adds optional durable processing and Square payment modules while keeping static and hosted-link stores lightweight.
Changes
- Add scoped orders, direct payments, partial/full refunds, delayed capture, cancellation, and recovery for uncertain payment outcomes.
- Add PostgreSQL persistence, fenced operation claims, webhook receipts, reconciliation, dead-letter replay, and signed downstream events.
- Add embedded Square card tokenization, separate stored-card consent, subscription lifecycle operations, and approved invoice flows.
- Add encrypted Square OAuth connections with refresh, revocation, and location selection.
- Include disabled-by-default application fees, catalog/inventory, Terminal, and reporting integrations.
- Harden concurrent payment recovery, checkout restarts, OAuth state, provider idempotency, and event/schema compatibility.
- Rewrite the README with monochrome badges, clearer setup instructions, and provider acceptance boundaries.
Upgrade and scope
Static and hosted-link users need no configuration changes. Runtime and custom-adapter users should read the 0.5 migration guide.
The maintainer has confirmed working Square and Stripe integrations. Advanced modules still need acceptance checks for the features and deployment being enabled; the release does not certify every provider or lifecycle path. See acceptance status.
The GitHub release includes the npm tarball, CycloneDX SBOM, and build provenance. Version 0.5.0 is also published on npm. Install it with:
npm install @kujolang/commerce@0.5.0
