First public release of Local Screen Translator.

Installation

Download all six installer files into the same folder:

  • LocalScreenTranslator_Setup_1.0.0.exe
  • LocalScreenTranslator_Setup_1.0.0-1.bin
  • LocalScreenTranslator_Setup_1.0.0-2.bin
  • LocalScreenTranslator_Setup_1.0.0-3.bin
  • LocalScreenTranslator_Setup_1.0.0-4.bin
  • LocalScreenTranslator_Setup_1.0.0-5.bin

Then run:

LocalScreenTranslator_Setup_1.0.0.exe

No separate Python, Ollama, OCR models or translation models need to be installed.

Requirements

  • Windows 10/11 x64
  • NVIDIA GPU
  • NVIDIA compute capability 7.5 or newer
  • 8 GB VRAM recommended
  • Approximately 10 GB installed size

Security notice

This v1.0.0 build is currently unsigned.

Windows Smart App Control or Microsoft Defender SmartScreen may warn about or block an unsigned executable.

Do not disable or weaken Windows security features just to run the application.
