v0.2.7 — Skill mode

Choose a tag to compare

@kunal12203 kunal12203 released this 28 Jul 09:07

New: Skill mode (no MCP needed)

pip install swafra
swafra skill

That's it. Claude Code now has persistent memory via bash commands — no MCP server, no config files.

All install paths

Path Command Best for
Skill (new) swafra skill Claude Code users who want zero config
MCP claude mcp add swafra -- swafra serve Claude Desktop, VS Code Copilot, any MCP client
Hooks swafra setup Extra enforcement (Claude can't forget to check memory)

All three read the same ~/.scimap/ data — mix and match freely.

v0.2.6

What's new

CLI stats dashboard

Run swafra in terminal to see your full knowledge graph stats — sources, chunks, edges, communities, entities, facts, storage size.

Setup & enforcement hooks

  • swafra setup — installs Claude Code hooks that enforce memory retrieval every session
  • swafra remove — disables hooks (keeps data)
  • swafra remove global — removes everything including stored knowledge

No conflicts

npm and pip installs work independently. Both read ~/.scimap/ directly — no cross-dependency.

Stronger tool descriptions

Tool descriptions now use MANDATORY language so Claude reliably calls get_context at session start and add_knowledge proactively.

Platform support

  • macOS, Linux: full support (stats + hooks)
  • Windows: stats work, hooks require WSL or Git Bash

Install / upgrade

pip install --upgrade swafra
# or
npm update -g swafra
