Fixes

  • Stale cache flush: Added CACHE_KEY_VERSION constant hashed into every cache key — bumping it instantly invalidates all prior entries without migration or manual cleanup
  • Integrity verification on restore: store.get() now verifies all cached files exist on disk before returning a hit; missing files trigger eviction and recompile instead of silent failures
  • Integrity verification on download import: import_downloaded_entry() verifies all artifacts listed in meta.json exist before marking the entry committed; incomplete downloads are rejected
  • Defense-in-depth on link: restore_from_cache() checks store file existence before linking, producing a clear error message instead of cryptic link failures
  • Clippy cleanup: Fixed collapsible if warnings in TUI module (let-chains)

Important

First build after upgrading to v0.0.17 will be all cache misses (new key version). This is expected and confirms the flush is working. Subsequent builds will cache normally.
