Breaking

  • JWTDecode raised from 3.x to 4.0.x (SPM + CocoaPods). Hosts that pin JWTDecode to 3.x will fail dependency resolution — raise the pin to 4.0.0+ or remove an explicit pin and let the SDK resolve it.
  • SwiftPM tools-version floor is 6.0 for the SPM distribution package. Resolving kustomer-ios requires a Swift 6 toolchain (Xcode that ships SwiftPM 6+).
  • SnapKit is no longer a transitive dependency (SPM + CocoaPods). Hosts that used SnapKit only because the chat SDK pulled it in must declare SnapKit themselves. Public KustomerChat APIs are unchanged.

Fixed

  • Tapping an assistant suggested answer no longer leaves a duplicate outgoing customer bubble when the send confirmation could not replace the optimistic message.
  • The sample Example App archives successfully for Release / TestFlight after the SnapKit removal (uses public SDK APIs only).

Improved

  • JWTDecode 4.0.0 for Swift 6 Sendable conformance on both SPM and CocoaPods.
  • Layout without SnapKit — smaller dependency graph and binary surface for SPM and CocoaPods hosts.

Removed

  • SnapKit is no longer linked via the SDK Xcode project, SPM distribution package, or CocoaPods podspec.
