This release is the proof that the rules came first.
Commit f4c2993 was published on 28 September 2026 at 07:57 UTC, four hours before the collector saved its first forecast. It contains the collector and the complete scoring rules. Nothing in the scoring has changed since.
What is locked here
- The sources: DMI, MET Norway, OpenWeatherMap (free 3-hour forecast) and the pilots' TAF at Aalborg and Copenhagen airports.
- Five Danish cities and the DMI stations they are measured at.
- Forecasts saved four times a day (00, 06, 12, 18 UTC), up to 72 hours ahead, each download hash-chained before the weather happens.
- The scoring: temperature error and bias per lead time, rain/no rain per six-hour period, calibration of rain probabilities, and a lazy baseline, "tomorrow will be like today".
How to check it
- The SHA-256 of
kvx_weather.pyin this release is0464d697589594b6f427be4d01e5f5fd7f7f9a4867281f00b6d212dcab5f6360, recorded inMETHOD.lock. - Every day the newest hash of the chain is committed to
anchors/chain-heads.csv, together with the hash of the code the server is running. If it ever differs from the one above, it will show there. - A new version of the collector requires a new line in
METHOD.lock, and CI fails without it.
