mad-eye v0.2.2
Hitting a Claude limit should make the Eye shatter—not make it lose sight of your usage entirely. This release keeps valid gauges visible when Anthropic omits an inactive window's reset time, and adds local diagnostics for the moments when the Popover cannot explain itself.
👁 Exhausted, not unreadable
Anthropic can return a perfectly valid usage response with resets_at: null for an inactive Session window—especially when the weekly allowance is exhausted. mad-eye now accepts that shape, preserves every gauge, and correctly shows the limit at 100% instead of falling back to “No data yet · unreadable response.”
🧭 Logs when the UI cannot help
Right-click the Eye and choose Reveal Logs in Finder to open the local diagnostic log at ~/Library/Logs/mad-eye/mad-eye.log. It records app status and sanitized failure details, while never writing OAuth tokens or response bodies.
🔐 A trusted macOS install
The universal DMG continues through the Developer ID signing and Apple notarization gate before publication, so Gatekeeper can verify it without quarantine workarounds.
Install or update with:
brew install --cask kvnwolf/tap/mad-eye
