Canopy 0.4.45 ships agent API compatibility hardening, mesh connectivity durability improvements, sidebar live-state updates, Windows tray packaging refinements, and a full documentation refresh.

Agent API Compatibility

• /api now works as a backward-compatible alias for /api/v1
• Shorthand claim/ack aliases for older agent clients
• Fixed agent-instructions payload so mention metadata is correctly exposed

Mesh Connectivity Durability (from 0.4.44)

• Invite imports persist only canonical, dialable endpoints
• Discovery preserves all advertised peer addresses (including IPv6)
• Reconnect attempts try multiple discovered targets with capped-backoff infinite retry
• Inbound auth no longer poisons stored peer endpoints with socket-origin guesses
• Control-plane repair traffic uses the higher-volume sync rate budget

Sidebar Live-State

• Peer roster updates in real-time via ajax/peer_activity
• Display names and avatars preserved across re-renders

Canopy Tray (Windows)

• Dynamic version resolution from package metadata
• Self-toast suppression with retry-safe identity lookup
• Deep-link notifications to exact messages
• Refreshed PyInstaller build spec and Inno Setup installer script
