1.0.0
Added before the first release:
π DNS servers can now be a hostname or URL No longer limited to IP addresses (1.1.1.1) β you can enter a domain name or URL such as dns.adguard-dns.com. The address is automatically resolved to an IP before the VPN is enabled.
π‘ AdGuard preset One-tap button with dns.adguard-dns.com β blocks ads and trackers in two taps. Presets are now arranged in a neat 2Γ2 grid: Google DNS, Cloudflare, OpenDNS, AdGuard.
βοΈ Secondary DNS field is now optional You can use just a single DNS server. The field label now reads "Secondary DNS (optional)".
β¨ Empty fields with hints On a fresh install the DNS fields are empty β only hints are shown (1.1.1.1 or dns.example.com). If you leave a field empty, it falls back to 1.1.1.1 automatically.
π± Widget shows the DNS actually in use The widget now displays the real address being used (instead of an empty value) when DNS is ON.
π· Renamed The app is now called DNS Changer Widget.
π Signed release APK The release build is signed with a persistent keystore via GitHub Secrets (KEYSTORE_BASE64 / KEYSTORE_PASSWORD) β a stable key, not a new one on every build.
Instead of making several separate releases for each feature, I decided to finish these changes before the first release and include everything at once.
