The “fork consistency” release gives the retained product one identity and one set of defaults and contracts. Repository links, versions, current documentation, generic market context, and instrument currency/locale semantics now describe OpenTerminalUI rather than leaking accidental upstream or India-first assumptions.
Changed
- Canonical OpenTerminalUI identity, package-derived frontend versioning, and current PostgreSQL-first documentation contracts.
- Shared US/NASDAQ defaults across generic screens, backtests, charts, reports, labs, and model tools while preserving intentional NSE/BSE behavior.
- Instrument-aware native currency and locale handling, including honest FX fallback and explicit mixed-currency aggregates.
- Clear, accessible portfolio holding entry with labelled symbol, quantity, unit price, and purchase-date fields in a responsive layout.
Verification
The automated release gate passed with 834 backend tests, 320 frontend tests across 99 files, production build, Python compile, surface-inventory and production-mock guards, and Docker Compose configuration. The maintainer completed host and user verification before release.
