Repository navigation
Fleet Deck 0.23.6 makes repository-backed spawns easier to authenticate, safe to cancel, and clearer while they are waiting for human input. It also restores true multi-line paste in the board terminal.
Highlights
- Repository access is checked before a spawn begins. GitHub and GitLab failures now return structured, redacted guidance; Coder uses its OAuth-backed HTTPS flow without exposing provider tokens to Fleet Deck.
- Clone provisioning is owned and cancellable. Killing a provisioning session stops Git and its credential/SSH descendants, removes temporary checkouts, and retires the card instead of leaving it stuck on
cloning.... - Multi-line terminal paste is atomic. Claude panes receive one sanitized bracketed-paste transaction, so pasted lines remain one editable prompt instead of becoming separate submissions.
- Project-trust waits are explicit. After cloning, Fleet Deck opens the owned terminal and clearly identifies Claude's one-time trust dialog rather than appearing hung.
- Claude compatibility now has a minimum only. Stable Claude Code versions at or above 2.1.206 stay enabled; older, prerelease, and unidentifiable builds remain silent no-ops behind the existing schema and fail-open boundaries.
- Terminal startup preserves exits. Pane-death signals that race the initial snapshot are delivered in order rather than leaving the board waiting indefinitely.
Upgrade notes
- Runtime requirement: Bun 1.3.14 or newer.
- No database or configuration migration is required.
- Coder deployments should pair npm
fleetdeck@0.23.6with the immutablev0.23.6Fleet Deck plugin tag.
