Overview

Major update to reduce proactivity and empower user control. Keep now focuses on session continuity and delegates workflow management to user-invoked commands.

What Changed

Skill Simplification

  • Removed all proactive "watching" for decisions, learnings, and context gaps
  • Kept only session resume detection at conversation start
  • Plugin is now less intrusive and respects user workflow

Command-Driven Workflow

Users now manually invoke Keep commands as they work:

  • /keep:start - Start work with context loading
  • /keep:save - Capture progress and learnings
  • /keep:done - Complete work and move to next issue
  • /keep:grow - Create/update CLAUDE.md documentation

Workflow Hints

All agents now include workflow hints to help users learn the natural cadence without being intrusive.

Documentation

Enhanced README with "Workflow Patterns & User Cadence" section showing the natural rhythm of Keep usage.

Breaking Changes

⚠️ Behavior change: Keep no longer proactively suggests commands during conversations. Users are responsible for invoking commands at appropriate moments. The skill only detects resumable work at session start.

This is intentional - Give users full control while teaching the workflow through hints.
