Removed

  • nrfutil is no longer installed in the box image, nor its nrf5sdk-tools and device
commands, and NRFUTIL_HOME is no longer set. Nothing in lager called it. A script that
ran nrfutil on the box must now install it itself.

Fixed

  • lager install asks for the box's sudo password once on a fresh box, with or without
    Docker.
Docker, the buildx plugin and the PicoTech SDK are now installed in the one sudo
session. Before, each was installed in a separate session that asked for the password again.
The official buildx binary, used when the distribution's package does not run, is checked
against a pinned SHA-256 before it is installed. A box that is already installed asks for the
password once more on its next lager install, because the session changed.
  • Unplugging a streaming PicoScope resets the live session. The daemon
closed the unit and opened it again, but the Pico driver in that process
still had the previous run, so Start failed until lager scope <net> stop.
The page also kept the last trace up, as if nothing had happened. Start
after a replug now runs on a new session, and the page says the scope was
    unplugged.
  • A PicoScope that was just plugged in no longer reports as wedged. Its
driver can take about a minute to open a cold-plugged unit, and for most of
that minute every command said to reconnect it, which started the wait
    over. Commands now say the open is in progress and how long it has run;
only an open still running after two minutes says to unplug the scope.
  • battery/supply TUI no longer prints a traceback on exit. Quitting lager battery <NET> tui
or lager supply <NET> tui while state updates were arriving could print a NoMatches
traceback after the TUI closed. Typing q, quit or exit at the prompt now also tells the
box to stop monitoring, as Ctrl+C already did.
  • Ctrl+C quits the battery/supply TUI on every supported Textual. On older Textual releases, such as
3.2.0, the command input took Ctrl+C as copy even with nothing selected, so lager battery <NET> tui
and lager supply <NET> tui never quit. Ctrl+C now copies when text is selected and quits
    otherwise. (#685)
