LambdaDB CLI 0.1.4 pins the TypeScript SDK to 0.8.1 and standardizes feature descriptions to native embedding and native reranking. The server supplies reranking provider credentials.
Commands, flags, public identifiers, managedEmbedding compatibility, request validation, defaults, limits, error classification and output contracts remain unchanged. This release also includes the reviewed maintainer-documentation cleanup.
Validation
- Source: main commit 29de97a, promoted through PR #23. Its tree matches the reviewed candidate 5fc25df.
- Local version, lint, type and build checks passed; 79 local tests and 54 installed-package tests passed.
- Required Node.js 22/24 PR CI passed. Codex review completed for the final candidate with no findings.
- The installed candidate passed the complete development live smoke in 65.2 seconds, including native/legacy embedding, Bayesian query budgets, native reranking and 30 expected HTTP 400 rejections. All three temporary Collections were deleted and verified absent. The sanitized live log is attached.
- Live smoke is a bounded development sample and does not establish production deployment, search quality, load/failure coverage or billing readiness.
Publication verification
The release workflow completed successfully. Registry latest is 0.1.4; the dev channel remained 0.1.4-dev.18 at stable verification. The published tarball is byte-identical to the live-tested candidate. A fresh registry installation passed all 54 CLI contracts and version/help checks, with SDK 0.8.1.
npm audit signatures verified 4 registry signatures and 3 attestations. SLSA provenance identifies main commit 29de97a, refs/tags/v0.1.4, this repository and publish.yaml. The stable tarball publication does not supply a separate gitHead registry field; source identity was verified through signed provenance. The verification record is attached.
Homebrew
CLI synchronization PR #24 and public tap PR #9 are merged. The public formula now installs 0.1.4 with SDK 0.8.1 and pins verified tarball/immutable lockfile checksums. Both PRs completed latest-head automatic review; the ancestry comment on #24 was answered with local and remote commit-parent evidence and resolved.
Public-tap CI passed installation on macOS 15 and Ubuntu 24.04. An actual macOS arm64 public-tap upgrade from 0.1.3 to 0.1.4 passed brew update, brew upgrade lambdadb/tap/lambdadb-cli, version/SDK verification and brew test. The formula matches the CLI-maintained copy. Test-owned installations and tap were removed afterward. The upgrade record is attached. An actual Linux upgrade was not executed.
The next development base is 0.1.5-dev.1. Develop CI and automatic publication published 0.1.5-dev.19, leaving latest=0.1.4.
The published 0.1.5-dev.19 consumer also passed 54 CLI tests and version/help, SDK 0.8.1, four registry signatures and three attestations. Registry gitHead and signed provenance match 7c75810 and refs/heads/develop. No remaining blockers.
