DataSource Plugin Support

  • New DataSource Plugin System: Introduced a DataSource plugin system for RAG 2.0, supporting various types of data sources:

    • Website crawler data sources like Firecrawl (WebsiteCrawlDatasource)
    • Online document data sources such as Notion and Google Docs (OnlineDocumentDatasource)
    • Online drive data sources like Google Drive and Dropbox (OnlineDriveDatasource)

Tool OAuth Support

  • OAuth Protocol Support: Added a complete OAuth authentication flow for Tool Providers

    • New OAuth-related methods added to the ToolProvider base class:

      • oauth_get_authorization_url() – Get the authorization URL
      • oauth_get_credentials() – Retrieve access credentials

  • OAuth Configuration Schema: Introduced the OAuthSchema class to support client and credential configuration

  • OAuth Route Registration: Added OAuth-related endpoints in plugin routing:

    • get_oauth_authorization_url – Get the authorization URL
    • get_oauth_credentials – Retrieve credentials

  • GitHub OAuth Example: Provided a complete implementation example for GitHub OAuth, including:

    • OAuth authorization flow
    • Access token exchange
    • Credential validation

🔄 Backward Compatibility

  • All existing Tool and Model plugins remain fully compatible
  • The new OAuth functionality is optional and does not affect existing plugins, which continue to use API_KEY by default
