An issue raised by @jdolence is that modifying bulk modulus is playing with thermodynamic derivatives. The better approach might be to provide a sound speed method to all EOSs and only modify that, not the bulk modulus in the Relativistic modifier. That would be API breaking but a useful change in my opinion.
