The .dmg is signed ad-hoc and not notarised, so the first launch of a downloaded copy
says Apple could not verify "cide" is free of malware. Click Done, open System Settings
› Privacy & Security, scroll to the Security section and click Open Anyway next to
cide (right-click › Open no longer offers this on macOS 15 and later). Once is enough.
Installed copies (the AppImage, and the macOS app in Applications) offer this update
themselves at their next start.
