Linux Leptocline 1.0 "understudy" is a Debian 13 (trixie) live security distro.

About 200 security tools (Debian native plus a pinned Kali set), OpenJDK 21 and Prism Launcher, a Calamares graphical installer, and cyan crowned-penguin branding. It boots BIOS and UEFI. Live user lepto, password live, passwordless sudo.

Download

The ISO is about 3.8 GB, over GitHub's 2 GB per file cap, so it ships as three parts. Download all three (.001, .002, .003) plus SHA256SUMS.txt, then rejoin them.

Linux / macOS:

cat leptocline-1.0-amd64.hybrid.iso.* > leptocline-1.0-amd64.hybrid.iso

Windows (cmd):

copy /b leptocline-1.0-amd64.hybrid.iso.001 + leptocline-1.0-amd64.hybrid.iso.002 + leptocline-1.0-amd64.hybrid.iso.003 leptocline-1.0-amd64.hybrid.iso

Verify

Linux/macOS: sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS.txt . Windows: CertUtil -hashfile leptocline-1.0-amd64.hybrid.iso SHA256
Expected ISO hash: 566f6157610bcd9a9db155346aaabedd747d89ae5ac1466bf74bfcc890eb2b49

Write and run

Write with Rufus in DD Image mode (or dd), boot the USB, choose Live system.

Warning: you must disable Secure Boot to boot it (the image is unsigned). Use only on hardware you own, never a work or school machine: those often have BitLocker, and changing Secure Boot triggers a recovery key lockout only IT can undo.
