First run: download the archive for your platform, extract it, and run:

./memento app --demo

Demo mode uses a synthetic local archive and does not require a configured msgvault archive.

Real archive use requires msgvault with search support:

msgvault stats
./memento app

Recommended for best retrieval: run msgvault serve and set MEMENTO_MSGVAULT_API_URL.
Verify downloads against checksums.txt.
