📋 System Requirements

🚀 Quick Start

For Standalone EXE:

  1. Download VClean-Launcher.exe
  2. Right-click → "Run as administrator"
  3. If Windows SmartScreen appears: Click "More info" → "Run anyway"
  4. Select your drive and cleaning profile
  5. Click "Start Cleaning"

For MSI Installer:

  1. Download VClean-Enterprise-Setup.msi
  2. Double-click to install
  3. Launch from Start Menu
  4. Select your drive and cleaning profile
  5. Click "Start Cleaning"

🔐 Code Signing

Status: Application submitted to SignPath Foundation

Free code signing provided by SignPath.io, certificate by SignPath Foundation.

Current Release: Unsigned (Windows SmartScreen warning expected)
Future Releases: Will be signed after SignPath approval

⚠️ Important Notes

Windows SmartScreen Warning

This release is unsigned. Windows will show a SmartScreen warning:

  1. Click "More info"
  2. Click "Run anyway"

This is expected behavior for unsigned executables. We're working with SignPath Foundation for free code signing.

Antivirus False Positives

Some antivirus software may flag PS2EXE compiled executables:

  • Add exception in your antivirus
  • Verify file hash matches official release
  • Download only from official GitHub repository

🔄 Upgrade from v2.x

v3.0.0 is a complete rewrite with GUI. No automatic upgrade path from v2.x.

To upgrade:

  1. Download v3.0.0
  2. Uninstall v2.x (if installed)
  3. Run v3.0.0

Settings from v2.x are not preserved.
