[1.117.0] - 2026-10-06

Speed Test now shows how your connection has been doing, not only how it is right now. Above each history
table is a small chart of your past results with a line at your usual speed, and one sentence saying whether a
recent test was far below it.

Added

  • A trend above each Speed Test history (#1499). The tab kept the last 20 results per engine as a table, which
holds the answer to "is my internet worse than it used to be, or is it just today?" but does not show it.
    • Download and upload over time, drawn from the same results the table lists, with a dashed line at your usual
download. "Usual" is the median, so one slow evening does not move it.
    • One sentence under it: "Usually about 480 Mbps", and, when a run was under half of that, whether it was only
the latest test (run another to see whether it lasts), the last few in a row (this looks like a change), or
one earlier test with the latest back to normal (one slow moment, not a trend).
    • It appears from the second test, so one result is never drawn as a line; until then the card says a trend
needs a second test. A run that measured no download is left out, and an upload that was not measured leaves
a gap instead of a drop to zero.
    • Ookla and HTTP each have their own chart, never a shared one, because the two measure differently.

Verify the download

Get-FileHash .\SysManager-v1.117.0.exe -Algorithm SHA256

Expected SHA256: 4C8B8BF75D49CD3A4E87D23BC060C2DA5B195FE8F9B94C10F43BBB09330B4BE9

This build is not code-signed, so Windows will warn on first launch. That is
expected for a small independent app: see what the warning says and what to
click
.
Code signing is planned through the SignPath Foundation,
which provides free certificates to open-source projects, with signing performed by
SignPath.io. Until then, the SHA256 above and the build
attestation below are what establish that a download is the genuine build.

Code signing policy

This release is not code-signed. The team roles, release-approval process and
privacy policy required by the SignPath Foundation programme
are documented in advance under Code signing
policy
. That
documentation is a prerequisite for applying, not evidence of a certificate. The
attribution line naming SignPath as the signing provider will appear here once a
certificate is actually issued.

This program will not transfer any information to other networked systems unless
specifically requested by the user or the person installing or operating it. Full
privacy policy.

Verify where this binary came from

This exe was built by GitHub Actions from this public source, and the build is
recorded in the Sigstore public transparency log. With the
GitHub CLI:

gh attestation verify .\SysManager-v1.117.0.exe --repo laurentiu021/SystemManager

That proves which commit and workflow produced this exact binary, something the
SHA256 file cannot show, since it is published alongside the exe it describes.
Each release also ships SysManager-v1.117.0.sbom.json, a CycloneDX inventory of
every dependency resolved for this build.
