CLAUDE.md gained 5 protocol additions: Prime Directive #3 (never manually copy, everything must be programmatically coherent), Prime Directive #8 (simplest approach, never overcomplicate or add unnecessary comments), the Baseline First testing strategy (run all unit tests before implementing and fix existing failures), the No Skipped Tests strategy (detect and re-enable skipped tests, investigate root causes), and the When Stuck workflow (write one-off programs in ./playground to isolate and test a hypothesis).

The statusline unified on bash for every platform: statusline.ps1 was removed, Windows now runs statusline.sh through Git Bash or MSYS2, deploy.ps1 registers bash ~/.claude/statusline.sh instead of pwsh ... statusline.ps1, and deploy.sh simplified its registration to a single command for all platforms. One script now carries the statusline logic for Linux, macOS, and Windows, which simplifies maintenance and keeps behavior consistent. Windows machines typically have Git Bash or MSYS2 available because many development tools require them, so bash is a viable cross-platform option.
