0.7.0

New

  • Apps you build can now send email. A published app sends sign-in codes and its own emails, such as receipts and notifications, from an address for your project, with nothing to set up.
  • Open Email from the project sidebar. Online lists the last 30 days of email your published app sent, with each message's status and content. Local shows the email your local preview sends, which is never delivered.
  • When your local preview sends an email, Layerwise tells you wherever you are in the app. Sign-in codes come with a Copy button.
  • The agent can add email to your app and read your Local inbox to finish testing sign-in.
  • Daily email limits depend on your plan, with separate limits for sign-in emails and app emails: 10 and 20 a day on Free, 100 and 200 per project on Pro (300 and 600 per team), and 500 and 1,000 per project on Business (1,000 and 1,500 per team). Enterprise has no daily limit. On Free, app emails end with a short Layerwise footer. Limits reset at midnight in your team's time zone, and today's usage is in the menu next to the Email title.
  • Team owners get an email when a project or the team reaches a daily email limit.
  • App emails include a one-click unsubscribe link. People who unsubscribe stop getting that project's app emails, and owners and admins can review and remove them under Unsubscribes.
  • If too many of a project's app emails bounce or are marked as spam, its app email pauses and team owners are told. Sign-in emails keep working.
  • Export the files you are viewing in Storage to a folder on your computer: the open folder with its subfolders, or every file that matches your search and filters. This replaces the read-only rclone access.
  • Switch a chat between Layerwise and My Codex at any time from the model picker. The chat keeps its history.

Improved

  • Usage and page actions for Analytics, Logs, Database, and Authentication now sit in a menu next to each page's title, like Storage. Exports in Logs and Database tables are in their More actions menus.
  • Storage shows clearer icons for images, video, audio, documents, and other files.
  • Columns you can sort by now show a sort arrow.
  • An email address can receive at most 5 sign-in codes an hour from one project, so your app can't be used to flood someone's inbox.
  • My Codex now works with the ChatGPT app on Windows and Linux, and you can open the ChatGPT app from Account settings on every platform.

Fixed

  • Closing a session on macOS no longer fails the agent's turn with a "kill EPERM" error.
