ArkOS4Clone 20260805 Release Notes (Compared to 20260711)

1. New Features

  1. Added support for Soy Sauce Panel 5
  2. Added support for Lenovo Go2 and GUSGU H7 devices

2. Feature Adjustments

  1. Updated EasyRPG core to v0.8.1.1
  2. Updated parallel_n64_libretro 32-bit core with significant performance improvements
  3. Updated PPSSPP configs: prioritized performance and fixed the default language bug (was incorrectly Chinese)
  4. Updated Retrorun emulator
  5. Updated snes9x series of emulators to newer versions
  6. Fixed R50H WiFi not working bug
  7. Fixed R36ultraX joystick channel bug
  8. Fixed freej2mesa display area being too small on non-480P devices
  9. Fixed ArkOS4Clone battery driver not updating properly when screen is off
  10. Fixed GPU driver bug where it would still overclock to 600MHz after running games even when set to a different frequency — this bug caused devices to become laggy after running heavy games. Fixed in this update.
  11. Adjusted ES: users can now choose whether to show WiFi and Bluetooth icons on the main screen
  12. In RetroArch, devices with a Fn key now use Fn+key combinations for shortcuts instead of the Select button. For devices without a Fn key, Select continues to function as the hotkey modifier.
