@leadedge leadedge released this 04 Aug 05:26

A version of SpoutVideoPlayer using FFmpeg instead of the Openframeworks ofVideoPlayer class.
Build VS 2022 /MD x64 for Openframeworks 12.1

Two pipes are created, one for video and the other for audio. This is a simple method compared to using FFmpeg libraries although seeking is slower. Unlike ofVideoPlayer, FFmpeg supports alpha channel transparency if the video file encoder supports it, such as VP9, HapAlpha and ProRes4444.

Download and unzip "SpoutVideoAudio_07-08-26.zip" below to any convenient location. A folder containing "SpoutVideoAudio.exe" is created.

If you get "missing dll" errors, such as MSVCP140.dll, install the Visual Studio runtime "VC_redist.x64.exe" located in the "runtime" folder.

FFmpeg.exe and FFprobe.exe are required. Refer to readme.txt for instructions.
