luarocks install lapis-exceptions
Changes
- Add
lapis exceptionsCLI for managing exceptions from the terminal. Subcommands:list, show, requests, update, delete, create. Supports filters (--status,--sort,--since,--search,--search-path),--fulldetailed view,--jsonmachine-readable output, and--page/--limitpagination. See the README CLI section for details. - Bulk
updateanddeletefor exception groups, plus a requests-only mode fordeletethat drops requests without removing the group. - Add MCP (Model Context Protocol) server at
lapis.exceptions.mcp_serverfor integrating exception management with AI tools. Run withlapis mcp lapis.exceptions.mcp_server. Exposeslist_exception_groups,list_exceptions,show_exception_group,create_exception,update_exception_group, anddelete_exception_grouptools. - Add
ON DELETE CASCADEforeign key fromexception_requests.exception_type_idtoexception_types.idso deleting a group also removes its requests at the database level. lapis.exceptions.schema.run_migrationsnow accepts an optional version argument that asserts the expected migration timestamp is present, raising a clear error if the installedlapis-exceptionsis out of date.- Lazy-require database-dependent imports so
lapis exceptions(e.g.--help) works without a live DB connection.
