ElixirOffice 0.3.3
ElixirOffice 0.3.3 adds signed desktop updates, a display-language choice, safer Office-style shortcuts, and an Electron security update.
What is new
- Signed in-app updates are available for eligible Windows x64 installer and Linux x64 AppImage packages. You can choose Install manually; automatic installation is OFF by default.
- Choose the desktop display language independently of the document language, with 45 reviewed interface languages.
- On Windows and Linux, Ctrl+Q stays with the editors and no longer quits the app. Use File > Quit instead. macOS keeps Cmd+Q.
- Electron is updated from 44.7.0 to 44.9.1, including the GHSA-jr5w-w6x2-84p9 security fix.
Downloads
| Platform | Download |
|---|---|
| Windows x64 | .exe installer |
| macOS Apple Silicon | .dmg |
| Linux | .deb (recommended) or AppImage |
Known limits
- The macOS build is ad-hoc signed and not notarized. Use right-click > Open to launch it.
- On Ubuntu 24.04+ and other hosts that restrict unprivileged user namespaces, the AppImage runs without the Chromium sandbox. Use the
.debpackage on those systems. - Verify downloads with the checksums in
SHA256SUMS.
For full technical details and qualification limits, see the RELEASE-NOTES.md asset.
